In September of 1974, Rav Ahron Soloveichik founded Yeshivas Brisk of Chicago, an institution intended to provide young men with an intensive, quality education in all facets of Jewish learning. Under the guidance of Rav Soloveichik, the school quickly became a major center for Torah education in the Midwest. The central focus of the institution is a concentrated program of Talmudic study and analysis which is designed to continue and perpetuate the 200 year-old tradition of Volozhin and Brisk. The curriculum also includes instruction in Jewish law, Bible studies, Hebrew language, Jewish History, and Jewish ethics.
The high school and beis medrash programs ended in June, 2004.
